At St Francis we hope to serve Healthcare Professionals in many ways. We see the Hospice as a hub of excellence in palliative care and one of our strategic objectives is to collaborate with, support and educate other professionals working with patients facing the end of their lives.
We offer clinical support and advice to professionals caring for patients in other settings for example, at home, in hospital or in care homes. Please see our
Partnership and collaborative working page for more details.
We have formal education programmes based at St Francis and in local settings throughout our catchment area and can customise programmes to suit the needs of different professionals. See our Education diary for more details.
The other popular route for supporting staff is through placements at St Francis - please see Visits and Placements.
We have emerging research and disseminate our work activity - please see our research strategy for more details.
We have a purpose-built training room available for hire to our local community.
