We rely on the support of our local community to continue to provide services to the terminally ill in our area. Currently, donations are 23% of our income, and fundraising activities are 16%, with legacies and collecting boxes together contributing 17%. That means that 56% of our income is given to us by people who have been touched by our services.
Our shops provide 18% of our income. We have 6 shops and are very grateful to the people who make donations to our shops, and to those who buy goods there.
The NHS contributes 16% of our income – a low figure compared to other Hospices in Britain.
